Prayer times look wrong

Times depend on the calculation method and the Asr madhab. In Settings, choose the method your local mosque uses. Then check that your location is right: allow location access, or choose your city by hand.

Recitation won't play

Recitation streams from the internet the first time. Check your connection, or download a surah in advance so you can listen offline.

Learn isn't available

Learn needs a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings. It's AI-assisted and can be wrong. Please check anything important with a qualified scholar or a trusted tafsir.

Widgets or Apple Watch show old times

Open the app once so it can share your latest location and settings with the widgets and your watch.

Guided Umrah

For miqat reminders on the way, allow location access and notifications, and keep the guide open on its travel step. Counting tawaf and sa'i rounds uses motion and location. If a count looks wrong, you can always adjust it by hand.

Content and sources

You can find the credits for the Quran text, translation, recitations and hadith in the app under Settings > Acknowledgements. If you think a source or ruling is wrong, please email us with the details.
